The floors start tomorrow

Tomorrow, it all starts. All but the dining room table is out of the dining room. the playroom is done, except about 6 boxes. Foyer is done (but it was table and a chair). And just a few things in the sitting room to move. And then Thursday night we can start putting it all away, and then over the weekend start ALL over again... But then? It'll be amazing.

This is the closest picture to the existing colour. Warm, yellow, uniform in stain.

The corner, near my office. There is the walnut trim, but you can see all the different shades in the wood. 

You can see the wide gaps, with the previous filler in there. But this is not at ALL the tone. Again, it's more the first pic. 

And every dot? A nail. The tried to stop the squeaking. Instead they gave the floors measles. 

And the playroom has this extra special stain... No clue the story here... 

He's not refinishing the stairs but will be cleaning them and touching up the lighter stain pieces.

One day we'll have the stairs refinished too. One day... Until then? We have amazing floors incoming! 

Until then? Piles o' furniture. Everywhere.
