Getting a plaque!

The community has started a new plaque program. Once you can confirm the original owners of the house (easier, with Henderson's online) and pay for half of the creation cost, you can have a plaque to put on your house. And our home was in the first batch!

The community is starting a walking tour, that will capture the stories of the houses, as people walk through. Although now that I (very slowly) jog through the neighbourhood, it's amazing to see other signs up and get a glimpse of the past.

Also, tangentially, this summer I want to paint the porch a different colour, not the green. Just need the time to do it all...
