And then days went by

And then days went by. I found out I was being moved to a new job. But still had to do my other job a bit too. All from home. And then the constancy of being in social distancing in a pandemic. And I lost my mojo.

Mojo squeaked back? A LITTLE?

These are our dining room windows. Pretty! But they too had NEVER used blinds. And now one of the two? Does not!

This one is gone! WOO! When we moved in, we rolled them up. never to unroll them again...

The right one even has a coffee stain (this room used to be an office)

 And now. one removed!

As I said, only a LITTLE mojo came back today. Enough for ONE blind to be removed. The other one will be tomorrow? Maybe?

And yes, this means our dining room will have no block and look RIGHT into the neighbour's dining room. And luckily they are friends. In times of pandemic we're sending each other notes and art through the glass.

It's amazing to see nearly 100 years of holes in the trim. All over this house, we have the stories of previous owners. Their decisions, their changes. And now, through this, I am recording our changes too.

Bonus content? Our tomatoes! The long ones on the right are from a new package. The middle one, with one stalk? From 30 year old seeds my dad harvested. Te spindly ones on the left were from forced germination in a container on a paper towel. And then I forgot to check them for a few days... Noticed them and popped them in soil today. They too are from over 30 year old seeds (although I forgot to mark which ones). And then rest that I tried to force germinate I put in the container with no shoots. See what happens? Hopefully will get a few heirloom  tomatoes going this year!
